Whether you're moving, going away, or need to cancel your DIRECTV service, please call 800.DIRECTV for assistance. They will make any account changes you need or help resolve problems with your bill or your service.
Please note that CenturyLink cannot change your DIRECTV service or bill, or accept DIRECTV equipment.
It's easy to transfer your DIRECTV service to a new address.
If you're going away for an extended time, you can temporarily suspend your service. There's no charge to suspend your service, and you can put your account on hold for as little as 30 days or as long as 6 months.
This saves you the trouble of returning equipment and closing your account, only to order a new install later.
To put your account on hold, call 800.DIRECTV. When prompted, say "suspend services," and follow the instructions.
If you want to cancel your DIRECTV service, call 800.DIRECTV. They will walk you through final steps, billing, and returning equipment to them.
