    I'm looking to create an outline from a PDF containing black and white text and diagrams. However the PDF is from a paper scan and the ink is just a bit fuzzy. It's perfectly clear and legible however I'd prefer to somehow enhance the text/images to be more crisp. From my understanding this is done by converting to a vector within Illustrator? I'm much more experienced within Photoshop and Acrobat than I am with InDesign or Illustrator. So I'm a bit lost. Any help is very much appreciated.

    I would not recommend to try to improve scanned text by vectorizing it in Illustrator. Photoshop has better tools to enhance images

    Thank you for that. Here's a few pages of the text in case it's helpful. I can retype it if necessary. But in either case what's the best Adobe software for creating high quality worksheets? My goal is to copy paste the text into a new worksheet. Hopefully of coures with the ability to add and subtract whatever necessary .

    You could try Acrobat to recognize the text in your images.
